In January 1998 the first Queensland Youth Convention (QYC) taught and encouraged young people in the tin shed at Mt Tamborine. Since then a number of events have been run in various locations to teach the Bible and encourage growth in Christian maturity. QYC has run each year since 1998 and in 2010 has a new name: STIR. STIR is held on the sunshine coast.

The Evangelical Music Conference (EMC) began as a Presbyterian Church camp in 1999 and after a few years became a joint conference with QCCA. EMC was specifically teaching & training church musicians. (Most years it was held in Toowoomba).

Brisbane Bible Talks (BBT) – was a single day and/or an evening of Bible Teaching in various locations throughout Brisbane.

Mens Training Event (MTE) is the QCCA conference specifically designed for men, it has been held at Mt Tamborine for a number of years, and is moving to the heart of Brisbane (Brisbane Convention Centre) in 2010.

GROW is a new convention in 2010. After an initial meeting in January of 2009 to consider a convention for women, our first Women’s Convention will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre in July this year.

Also associated with QCCA is the Brisbane Ministry Wives Network (BMWN) who provide a number of events each year for ministry wives to be taught and encouraged.
